SCPO is proud to be a member of the Bold Solutions Network.
We’re excited to share that our organization, as an awardee of the Yield Giving Open Call, is being added to Lever for Change’s Bold Solutions Network! The Network includes organizations and ideas that have been vigorously vetted and evaluated by the Lever for Change team, sector advisors, and experts. Being a member of the Network enables our organization to receive ongoing support from Lever for Change, as well as access capacity building opportunities.

What makes us Bold?
Holistic support for re-entry: Beyond basic necessities and housing, SCPO seeks to meet the person-centered needs of its residents.
Emphasis on dignity and humanization: We see the person, not the criminal record.
Community-based programming: Between peers, volunteers, neighbors, family members, and donors, we create a network of accountability and support.
Focus on women and overrepresented groups: With Women’s Empowerment at Jennifer House and beyond, we offer gender-responsive programming to meet the unique needs of women. We also focus on racial disparities, and unequal treatment of LGBTQ individuals.
Addressing root causes: Recognizing the oppressive systems that criminalize poverty, addition, and racism, SCPO interrupts the cycles - both individual and generational - that perpetuate justice-involvement.
Advocacy and education: We work hard to de-stigmatize incarceration and justice-involvement.
Leadership with lived experience: A majority of staff have lived experience, and are represented in leadership roles as Directors, Managers, and Board Members.
